10 SACRED Years - A Celebration
Saturday, April 3, 2027 • Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco
RSVP by February 1, 2027, to secure your spot!
What to ExpectJoin us in Puerto Vallarta in April 2027 to celebrate ten years of SACRED! You’ve helped us distribute more than 100,000 agave seedlings to families making heritage agave spirits … helped us to support the building of three rain-harvest systems and the digging of three wells to bring water security to six communities … helped us feed families during the Pandemic and rebuild homes after earthquakes … helped us provide healthcare to the people who shepherd the cultural heritage of rural Mexico. Please join us for a drink and a meal and a party to remember.
❋ The Big Party • Saturday, April 3, 2027, 11-4 We’re taking over the grounds of Finca 18 in Puerto Vallarta for a celebration that will include barbacoa, botanas, and an open bar. For the past few years we’ve asked mezcaleres to bury special batches for this event and they’ll all be open and available, both to drink onsite and to take home. Music, pajaretes, cornhole, dominoes, and so much more, all in a community of people just like you, who want to support rural Mexico!
❋ The Pre-Tour • Friday, April 2, 2027, 7-5About 2.5 hours south of Puerto Vallarta is Chacala, Jalisco — a beautiful community that requested support to dig a well and build a 120,000-liter cistern. We’ll visit that 2025 project as well as several of the raicilleros in the community. We’ll eat, we’ll drink, and we’ll maybe ride horses, if that’s your thing. Or just do more drinking, if that’s your thing.
❋ The Post-Tour • Sunday, April 4, 2027, 9-2As we recover from the big fun of the day before, we head to San Sebastian del Oeste, Jalisco, to visit a few raicilleros as well as a field of Blue Weber agaves that SACRED purchased during the downturn. We’re going to let that field go to seed and see if we can’t harvest some useful seeds from the project, to help restore genetic diversity to Agave Tequilana.

In 2025, the raicilleros of Chacala, Jalisco, requested funding to bring water security to their community of some 200 people. They completed a 10-meter-deep well and a 120,000-liter cistern in less than five months and now have easy access to all the water they need! We’ll visit that project, visit several raicilleros, drink several raicillas, and have a meal.

Sunday, April 4, 2027Post-Tour • San Sebastian del Oeste, Jalisco
In 2024, as the price of Blue Weber agaves was faltering, SACRED acquired a field of 6-year-old agaves. We’re allowing that field to go to seed, in hopes that this will produce genetically diverse seeds that we can use to help strengthen the genetics of Blue Weber in the future. We’ll visit that field as well as a couple raicilleros in the area.
