If you have to cover your face, cover it with the beauty of Chiapas! These facemasks were handmade by Francisca and sisters, artisans from San Andres Larrainzar, Chiapas, who make their fabric using a traditional pedal loom. We purchased their masks through Chamuchic [https://www.facebook.com/Chamuchic-172224312798345/]. These masks are a bit larger than some of the other masks we’ve seen. Note, though, that the stitched heart in the center appears as different colors throughout the run, so don’t expect that the stitched element will be the same color as in this picture. (The fabric itself, however, will be black, as shown here.)
